DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY

Worldwide today, Catholics are celebrating the divine mercy Sunday. Divine Mercy is a Roman Catholic devotion to the merciful love of God and the desire to let that love and mercy flow through one's own heart towards those in need of it. The devotion is due to the apparitions of Jesus received by Saint Mary Faustina Kowwalska (1905 - 1938), who is known as the Apostle of Mercy. Divine mercy Sunday is observed on the Sunday immediately after Easter Sunday. It was declared so by Pope John Paul II in year 2000.
Say the prayer today between 12noon and 3pm for absolute forgiveness of sins. Blessed are those who believe without doubting.
For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and the whole world
