It's my birthday today and I am a year older, I do hope that I am wiser too. I want to take this time to thank God for all he has done for me and my family in the past year, for the fulfillment of his word in my life. May your holy name be praised Lord.
Each year, apart from the "new year" resolutions I make on the 1st of January, my birthday is a time of sober reflection for me because I take my birthday to be my private new year. It is for me, a time to review and take stock of what has happened in my life in the past year. A time to check all my goals previous set, where they met or not? and a time to set new ones. A time to reinforce the resolve to achieve all previous goals not met and to achieve the newly set ones.

So I woke up this morning and thanked God for yet another year added to my life, for his goodness, mercies and grace. I moved on to perform my regular morning rituals of brushing my teeth and taking a bath and then I'm off to work putting on my favourite outfit. Remember, you feel the way you look. Unfortunately, this year, I get to spend my birthday at work, that though is not a deterrent. I made up my mind to have fun even if it is a little.
I want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to my family, you are the best and you've always being there for me. To all my friends on facebook and blackberry messenger, thanks for taking out time from your very busy schedule to share this day with me in whatever way you could, for all your warm wishes, kind messages and gifts, I appreciate. To my co-workers and colleagues at Faith Mediplex, you are wonderful. And what's more I get to share this day with my cousin Stephanie Onyeiwu Agbala.
